"As a child, I watched with great awe as my grandmother gracefully painted intricate scenes onto small mahogany boxes with single hair brushes as well as create large wall murals. Her love of color and design influenced me and throughout the years the study of art, in one form or another, has been a constant thread. For years my camera has been like an appendage exploring Nature's incredible beauty, and a #2 pencil was never far from my fingers. My early career as a landscape designer was a form of painting...what I call moveable art. If Mother Nature didn't like what you created she simply moved it. I love the intensity and challenge of painting in oil, trying to capture a feeling or tone in a painting." Wendy Dixon Fog presently resides in New Canaan, Connecticut.
